Leveraging our understanding of the textile industry, we entered knitting manufacturing in 2014, which continues to grow at a high rate and provides high-quality fabrics.

Knitted fabrics are used for manufacturing versatile and flexible fabrics. These are more textured and have a wide range of technical textile applications. At Laxmee, we use state-of-the-art technology that splits the threads into beans and produces grey fabric. We have set out to become the consumer’s one-stop textile solution by providing a range of options to our clients and customizing them according to their needs. We also offer a range of greige fabrics such as raschel, circular, and tricot warp knitted fabric. We even offer warping services such as high-speed warping, split warping and texturizing services to our clients.

Tricot Warp Knitting

Tricot Warp Knitting, solely composed of knit stitches, represents the largest quantity of warp knit. It is characterized by fine, vertical waves on the surface and crosswise ribs on the back. Tricot fabrics may be plain, loop-raised, or corded, ribbed, cropped velour, or patterned designs. It is commonly used for lingerie due to its good drapability. It is also used for underwear, nightwear, dresses, blouses, and outerwear. Tricot fabric is also used in household products such as sheets and pillowcases. It is also used for upholstery fabrics for car interiors.

Circular Knitting

Circular Knitting is a method by which yarn is manipulated to create a textile or fabric. Knitting creates multiple loops of yarn, called stitches, in a line or tube. Knitting has multiple active stitches on the needle at one time. Knitted fabric consists of a number of consecutive rows of interlocking loops. As each row progresses, a newly created loop is pulled through one or more loops from the prior row, placed on the gaining needle, and the loops from the prior rows are then pulled off the other needle. A knitting process that links circular stitches in a continuous chain yields uncommon strength and the form-fitting ability for a variety of uses. By alternating between single and double-knit processes, it can vary the style, width, and weight of the fabric to your exact needs.  Circular knits offer more variety and finer control over the finished product’s properties. Different types of yarns (fibre type, texture, and twist), needle sizes, and stitch types may be used to achieve knitted fabrics with diverse properties (color, texture, weight, heat retention, water resistance, and/or integrity).

Raschel Warp Knitting

*Raschel Warp knitting* has a lacelike, open construction, with a heavy, textured yarn held in place by a much finer yarn. Typically, columns of loops are connected by in-laid yarns traversing from column to column up the fabric as shown in Fig. 10.9. They split or come apart lengthwise when the laid-in yarn is removed. Examples of products made from raschel fabrics include coarse sacking, carpets, and fine, delicate laces.
